Karl-Anthony Towns picks up first career ejection for tick-tack technical foul
Towns barely said anything to the official before he was assessed his second technical foul.
Karl-Anthony Towns picked up the first ejection of his career on Friday night after he was assessed his second technical foul for... no reason?
Towns thought he got fouled on a basket over Rudy Gobert in the second quarter of the Timberwolves vs. Jazz matchup, and he let the referee know about it. It’s unclear what he said, but official Kane Fitzgerald had enough.

Towns was visibly upset with the lack of foul calls he’d received in the first half. He had taken just four free throws in his 20 minutes on the floor.
But the Wolves’ big man didn’t say very much before triggering Fitzgerald to toss him from the game. Relations between players and officials have reached an all-time low, and calls like this are a reason there’s friction between the two sides.
Pretty sure Kane Fitzgerald just ejected Karl Anthony Towns for yelling, "Damn where's the foul call?"

Fitzgerald will likely have to explain why he assessed Towns a second technical foul so quickly after the game. Again, Towns has never been ejected from a game until Friday.
